Today Dana White confirmed a story that we at yelltapmma broke yesterday that the UFC will indeed counter-program Strikeforce on April 17. The event will most likely take place on Spike TV. No fights have been announced yet although it is thought that Wanderlei Silva will meet Yoshihiro Akiyama on the card and another rumored fight for the card is Mike Swick taking on Matt Serra in a welterweight tilt.
