It looks as if though the WEC's global expansion will continue this year as in June the UFC's sister promotion will make a trip to Calgary. The event is tenatively scheduled for June 20, but the event is not a lock yet, but the WEC is attempting to secure a location in the city. An expected main event could be the winners of the two main events of this weekends WEC show between Brian Bowles and Dominic Cruz and Miguel Torres and Josepeh Benavidez facing off for the Bantamweight Championship.
